This kit replaces the antiquated and inefficient threaded slinger at the rear of the engine a source of constant and consistent oil leaks. Contrary to other conversions which are presently being sold by others and which require extensive and irreversible modifications this kit is easily installed when the instructions are followed exactly and requires the drilling of only one small hole.
The new and improved seal is made of graphite-impregnated Teflon rated to 12 000 RPM at 600 degrees F. These new seals also have a redesigned lip to ensure better contact with the crankshaft surface.
